AMD Promises "Full" Fusion of CPU and GPU in 2014
At its Financial Analyst Day event on Thursday, AMD said that its chips in 2014 will be able to automatically decide which of its heterogeneous cores to use for a particular task. The context switching between x86 and stream processing cores will allow AMD to greatly speed up performance of its chips and optimize their power consumption.

LG X3: Second Quad-Core Phone Revealed
LG X3 have a powerful chipset (a Tegra 3 by nVidia) and large, high-resolution display (4.7 inches at 1280x720), the X3 allegedly maintains a sub-nine-millimeter profile. Walmart is offering the first American-market Nokia running the Windows Phone operating system for free with a 2-year contract. Nokia has been noticeably absent from the smartphone market, and this move by the retail giant should give the phone manufacturer a boost.
The Lumia 710 boasts a 1.4 GHz processor, 5-megapixel camera, 512 MB of RAM, and 8 GB of internal storage. It may not be an iPhone, but given the pricetag it really doesn’t have to be.
